Interesting article recently in the Guardian. Does anyone know what has happened to the £6bn of savings the government said it would make by postponing the care cap to 2020? Like many others I assumed that at least some of it would be allocated to the care system. But it seems not. Any ideas let me know and I’ll tell the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services, the Care Provider Alliance, and the NHS Confederation all of whom it seems are also very keen to know!
